Christian Lopez is a Staff Research Associate for the Biology team at the LGR. He is currently involved in studying Niemann Pick disease and testing the functionality of CRISPR machinery in various human derived cell lines. Christian graduated from the University of San Francisco with a B.S in Biology in 2022 and is on course to finish a PSM in Biotechnology in 2023. He is highly motivated by the possibilities CRISPR technology has to offer to the realm of science and medicine. When he isn't working, he enjoys crafting costumes and props which he uses to bring smiles at local Bay Area events and charities.
